How to be hipster in Warsaw.

I’m not a hipster, but that does not mean I do not like the hipster lifestyle. Who among us does not like chamber music concerts, alternative cafes or small local art galleries. Here you will find list of things to do when you want to discover artsy Warsaw. 

Hang Like a Hipster

Plac Zbawiciela (Savior Square) is the most iconic place for hipsters in Warsaw. It was in this square has become „rainbow” installation artist Julita Wojcik, which was set on fire several times. In the square there are two popular cafes and Charlotte Coffee Karma wine and bread. Both places attract crowds of regulars.

The second square, which is worth a visit Plac Grzybowski, though the place is not as popular as the Savior square worth a look, especially in summer. In late August, the square visitors Festival of Jewish Culture „Singer’s Warsaw”.

Eat Like a Hipster

Parks and Gardens 

BUW roof garden – a garden on the roof of the Library, designed by landscape architect Irena Bajerska, was opened 12 June 2002. It is one of the largest roof gardens in Europe. Extends over an area of more than 1 ha, vegetation occupies in the 5111 m2.

Chopin concerts in the Royal Łazienki held every Sunday at 12:00 and 16:00. Inauguration of the season takes place in May and ending in September.

Hipsters over the Vistula

From the first warm evenings crowds of Varsovians are resting on both banks of the Vistula river. 
You should visit: Plac Zabaw or Cud nad Wisłą, both places attract a very rich cultural program.
