Getting to Warsaw by plane
The capital’s main air hub is Chopin Airport located 8 km from city center,
while budget Ryanair is Modlin Airport just 40 km northwest of the city.
From Modlin the cheapest and easiest way to get to Warsaw city center is by:

Buy bilet lotniskowy (airport ticket) for 17 zł valid for:
* shuttle bus from Modlin airport to Modlin trainstation,
* train to Warsaw,
* 60 minutes Warsaw transportation.
Trains departs almost every hour and arrive to three major train stations in Warsaw: Warszawa Wschodnia, Warszawa Centralna, Warszawa Zachodnia.
Estimated travel time by train 41 minutes.
Last two connections from Modlin airport departs at 11:30 pm and 00:14 am.

The cheapest ticket price starts 9 zł (2 euro).
Regular price is 28 zł (7 euro)

Last bus departs at 11:30 pm.

From Chopin Airport to city center you can easily get by public transportation:
* public bus nr 175 – single ticket cost 4,40 zł (1 euro)
Running daily between
04:27 – 22:58 and the last
Bus 175 goes towards Old Town and stops in City Centre after 25 minutes ride.
From the airport to Old Town ride time is approximately 40 minutes.
The ticket is valid for 75 minutes ride and is available from bus machine, bus driver or small kiosk.

Taxi from the airport to city center costs approximately 30 zł during day time.
For safety reasons Chopin Airport strongly advise to use licensed taxi services offered at Chopin Airport. Taxi tariffs should be clearly displayed in the car window.
