On 22 September, as every year as part of European Mobility Week, Warsaw encourages people to leave their cars in the garage or parking lot. It is best to change to Warsaw Public Transport, where tickets do not need to be validated that day.

On Sunday 22 September 2024, in connection with European Car Free Day, the use of:
- Warsaw Public Transport
- Park and Ride car parks
- trains and buses of the Mazovian Railways
- trains of the Warsaw Commuter Railway
is free .

Car-free day in KM
The company „Koleje Mazowieckie – KM” is involved in the celebration of the European Mobility Week (ETM) every year. We support projects that promote and encourage the use of alternative sources of public transport, in particular ecological rail transport.
For the European Car Free Day falling on 22 September 2024 (Sunday), we are introducing a non-tariff special offer Car Free Day at KM . On that day, Travelers will be able to travel free of charge on KM trains, KM buses on the Modlin – Modlin Airport section and on replacement bus services (ZKA), organised by the Company.
