Wakacje w Domu Kereta.

Dni Otwarte są unikalną okazją to zobaczenia wnętrza Domu Kereta – instalacji artystycznej na warszawskiej Woli, przykładu wyjątkowej architektury.

Dom Kereta to instalacja artystyczna, która ma formę “insertu” pomiędzy dwoma budynkami reprezentującymi różne epoki w historii Warszawy. Dom ma 70 cm w najwęższym miejscu i 122 cm w najszerszym. Został zaprojektowany przez Jakuba Szczęsnego z grupy architektonicznej CENTRALA i zbudowany w 2012 roku. Symbolicznym mieszkańcem i patronem domu jest Edgar Keret – znany pisarz izraelski. Kuratorami instalacji są Sarmen Beglarian i Sylwia Szymaniak z Fundacji Polskiej Sztuki Nowoczesnej.

W wakacje Dni Otwarte odbędą się w dwa wakacyjne weekendy: 13-15 lipca i 24-26 sierpnia. Podczas Dni Otwartych zwiedzający wchodzą do Domu w grupach maksymalnie czteroosobowych, a zwiedzanie trwa 15 minut. Zwiedzanie może odbywać się zarówno w języku polskim jak i angielskim. Open Days are a unique opportunity to see the interior of the Keret House – an artistic installation in the Wola district of Warsaw, an example of exceptional architecture.

The Keret House is an artistic installation, which has the form of an „insert” between two buildings representing different epochs in the history of Warsaw. The house is 72 cm in the narrowest place and 122 cm in the widest. It was designed by Jakub Szczęsny from the architectural group CENTRALA and built in 2012. The symbolic resident and patron of the house is Edgar Keret – a famous Israeli writer. The curators of the installation are Sarmen Beglarian and Sylwia Szymaniak from the Polish Modern Art Foundation.

Open Days will be held on two holiday weekends during the holidays: July 13-15 and August 24-26. During Open Days, visitors enter the House in groups of up to four people, and the tour takes 15 minutes. We explain the House both in Polish and English.
