Record collector Cedric Bardawil has travelled from Hawaii to Japan to Lebanon and back, searching for forgotten records and their stories.

Based in London, Cedric has hosted a night at Brilliant Corners for the last four years, inviting guest DJs from various musical backgrounds including Red Greg, Patrick Forge and John Gomez.

The Art of Sound is a series of Friday night DJ sessions taking place in the Academicians’ Room, the RA’s private members’ club. We’ve asked some of our favourite London-based DJs to dive into their archives for a series of unique music nights in the heart of the Royal Academy. DJs from a wide range of musical backgrounds will take over the Academicians’ Room, sharing their personal favourites as well as the hidden gems they’ve discovered on their musical journeys.

This event is open to members of the Academicians’ Room, Patrons and Friends of the Royal Academy and booking is required. A limited number of tickets are available to the general public, so be quick to book if you don’t want to miss out!
