Royal Residences in Warsaw: Free admission in November 2017

For the sixth time we invite you to „Free November” to royal residences. The Royal Castle and Royal Łazienki Museum in Warsaw will be open for free in November 2017.

Royal Castle – Museum in Warsaw was not only the seat of the monarch, his family members, the large number of courtiers of the king, but also resided here the most important civil servants, lived church dignitaries, and finally, from time to time gathered at a meeting of deputies and senators from across the Commonwealth. Royal residence was a place where life flourished and artistic court, held lavish galas and parties, ambassadors and deputies were taken, the most important decisions were taken on the internal and foreign policy of the monarchy Polish-Lithuanian. On the other hand, the royal court employed hundreds of servants and craftsmen, who daily try to meet numerous obligations and to assist the authority in carrying out its duties.
